Students talk to vendor at state job fair

On Thursday, career-conscious Albany High School seniors accompanied teachers Lindsay Simmons and Nick Davey on Thursday to the state Department of Labor’s Dr. King Career Fair at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center.

Over 150 businesses (including the City School District of Albany) were at the Career Fair. The Albany High students spoke with several employers about job opportunities, and some even have interviews scheduled with businesses next week during break!

The experience also helped the seniors prepare the Career Fair that Albany High is hosting on May 25.
