A Day in the Life: Health Science III

Health Science student practicing a medical procedure

Visit our district Facebook page to take a look at a typical day of learning in Markia Danzy, Cynthia Blake and Molly Horne’s Health Science III class here at Albany High School!

One of the many Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways available here at Albany High, Health Science is a three-year program that gives students the opportunity earn certification as a CNA (certified nursing assistant).

Health Science III is the culmination of this pathway, and students were hard at work Friday morning wrapping up their lesson on catheters and reviewing a variety of additional patient care procedures in preparation to sit for their NYS certification exam in June.
