Albany High School and Abrookin Career and Technical Center put lockout procedures in place for about 15 minutes as a precautionary measure late Monday afternoon due to a police investigation in the area.
Both buildings went into lockout at about 4:20 p.m. Monday. Student-athletes practicing outside at Albany High were brought inside during the police investigation as a safety precaution. Both buildings returned to normal security measures at about 4:35 p.m. on the advice of police.
As an added precaution, students in the night school program at Abrookin dismissed early Monday as well.
