Improved attendance pays off for six Falcons

Four students stand aside the bicycles they won

Attendance definitely matters!

Six Albany High School students received beautiful new bicycles Tuesday as a reward for having the most improved attendance this school year.

Congratulations to freshman Zaki Abdul-Hameed (Leadership Academy), sophomore Ceazus Brown (Discovery Academy), freshman Damian Duran (Abrookin Career and Technical Center), sophomore Isaac Kamara (Innovation Academy), freshman Marialis Santana-Gomez (Citizenship Academy) and junior Davonte Watkins (Citizenship Academy).

The principals from each academy and Abrookin Career and Technical Center worked with the school attendance team to select the students.

Keep up the great work in the coming school year!
