Falcon jazz plays The Egg

People who attended jazz violinist Regina Carter’s June 7 concert at The Egg were treated to the sweet sounds of Albany High School’s advanced jazz band, the Jazzmanian Devils, beforehand.

The Jazzmanian Devils performed under the direction of John Halvorsen. And when they finished, they had the opportunity to hear Carter’s multimedia performance “Gone in a Phrase of Air,” which kicked off the Albany Symphony’s annual American Music Festival.
