Attention juniors – It's time to schedule your senior portrait! A professional photographer will be at school July 24-28. You need to make an appointment for a session. Online Success next week – The Online Success Center will be open Tuesday-next Friday in room 1311 from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., and students can earn course credit and improve their grades. Note: Thursday's and next Friday's sessions are for seniors only, and seniors' work is due next Friday. Work by freshmen, sophomores and juniors' is due Wednesday. Questions? Summer asbestos abatement – Starting June 26, a licensed contractor will undertake an asbestos abatement project at Albany High in the older part of the building adjacent to the North Main Avenue parking lot. Learn more.

Rewind Wednesday – Seniors who were English Language Learners (ELLs) and students of Kristen Buyce's at Myers Middle School in 2019 returned to their school Wednesday to talk with current Myers ELL eighth-graders about their experiences after middle school. Learn more.
Academic high-flyers – On Tuesday, in recognition of their outstanding academic careers, the top 10 graduating seniors from Albany High School’s Class of 2023 continued the tradition of “climbing to new heights” atop the building for a photo op. Learn more.

Music honor society jams and noshes – Encore! Members of the Albany High Tri-M Music Honor Society held their annual recital Monday, when they mingled, snacked and listened to top-notch chamber music performed by their peers. Learn more.
Language honor society inductions – On June 8, 38 Falcons were inducted into three World Language Honor Societies: National Chinese Honor Society, Société Honoraire de Français (French Honor Society) and Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (Spanish Honor Society). Learn more.
