Riddle me this: Where, in one place, can you find Harry Potter, the many iterations of Barbie, a bright blue bird of prey, football-playing barbers, assorted stylists and aspiring filmmakers?
Answer: At Albany High School, of course!
On Thursday and Friday, students in Theresa Story’s Film 2 class began making a movie that will debut during Homecoming next week. The film features LaQuita Love’s Cosmetology 1, 2 and 3 students, and Jonathan Wafer’s Barbering 1, 2 and 3 students (many of whom are also members of the Albany High football team).
In a starring role is Dr. Joe Slichko, Abrookin/CTE principal and infinitely good sport. Stay tuned – the film is coming to a screen near you! You can see a Facebook photo album of the filming here.
You can see a Facebook photo album of some of the scenes here. (You don't need a Facebook account to see the photos linked in the highlighted text above. A window may appear that says, "To see more from Albany City Schools on Facebook, log on or create an account,” but you can dismiss it by clicking “not now.”)
