Effective immediately, Albany High School is implementing new safety procedures for dropping off or picking up students at school.
Please do NOT stop or park your vehicle on Washington Avenue in front of school. Instead, pull your vehicle into the school parking lot off Washington Avenue and form a waiting line. These procedures apply before, during and after the school day.
The Albany Police Department will be helping us enforce the new rules until the procedure becomes familiar to our families.
We are putting these rules in place because of the dangerous traffic situations caused by people dropping off or picking up students in the area in front of school on Washington Avenue.
