Chefs prep for food fest

Students and teacher cut cabbage

Delizioso!

Aspiring Albany High School chefs spent Wednesday morning preparing yummy foods they’ll serve up Thursday (tomorrow) at Siena College’s Festa Vino.

Students in Chef Lisa Valentine’s Culinary 2 and 3 classes made pulled pork, coleslaw and cornbread in the kitchens at Albany High’s Abrookin Career and Technical Center that they’ll dish out at the annual fine food and wine festival.

Check out a Facebook photo album of their frenzied work. (You don't need a Facebook account to see the photos linked in the highlighted text. A window may appear that says, "To see more from Albany City Schools on Facebook, log on or create an account,” but you can dismiss it by clicking “not now.”)
