On Saturday, members of Albany High School's indoor track and field teams competed in the Section 2 State Qualifier Meet at Hudson Valley Community College.
Not only did two Falcons earn first place at the meet but those golds also qualified the student-athletes for the state championship meet.
Congratulations to:
- Malachi Young (grade 12) - 55m hurdles
- Samir Gardner (grade 11) - long jump
The New York State Indoor Track and Field Championship will be held on March 2 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island.
