Don’t forget that the Albany High School food pantry and Falcon Boutique are up and running throughout the summer, thanks to Best Buddies.
The food pantry, located behind Citizenship Academy, is open to all Albany High students and their families. Free food and personal items are available. Falcon Boutique, located in the third floor balcony, is open to Albany High students, and they can get free clothing and footwear there.
Both are open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and stocked by students in Best Buddies, a social group where students with and without intellectual disabilities get together for friendship and fun.
If you’d like to donate clean, gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing or footwear to the Falcon Boutique, you can drop it off in the Albany High main office. For more information, email transition coordinator Joey DiPiazza at jdipiazza@albany.k12.ny.us.
