Albany High School’s student-athletes on the Hawks hockey team were part of a big win at Albany Academy on Tuesday night.
Senior Jack Colman (left) and junior Mitchell Cartwright (right) participated in the Hawks’ 7-2 win, avenging a 6-4 loss earlier in the season. Sarah Trippany (center), a senior, suffered a season-ending injury in December and was not able to play.

The Hawks are comprised of student-athletes from Albany High as well as Niskayuna, Broadalbin-Perth and Schoharie. They compete in the Capital District High School Hockey League.
The team improved to 7-9-1 overall with Tuesday’s win and is now 3-1-1 since the mid-season Albany Academy loss.
The Hawks have three more regular-season games before the playoffs. Good luck to our Albany High student-athletes and all of their teammates!
