Falcons featured in regional art exhibition

We are thrilled to announce that five Albany High students will have their artwork displayed in the 26th Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition, held at The Albany Center Gallery, located at 488 Broadway, Suite 107, Albany!

This year, an incredible 526 pieces from 25 school districts were submitted for consideration. The jurors for this year’s show are Robert Cooper, a photographer and journalist; Thomasa Dwyer Nielsen, an artist and educator; and Tony Iadicicco, Executive Director of the Albany Center Gallery.

The jurors were extremely impressed by the creativity throughout the region and selected 138 exceptional pieces for exhibition.

The exhibition opens to the public on Friday, March 21 and runs until Friday, April 18. The gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Students will be celebrated alongside friends, family, and educators during a private reception and awards ceremony on Thursday, March 20.
