School will be cancelled Friday for all Arbor Hill Elementary School students due to widespread power outages throughout the Capital Region and in the Arbor Hill community.
The cancellation of classes Friday applies to students attending school both virtually and in-person.
Although Arbor Hill Elementary will be closed Friday, grab-and-go breakfast and lunch will be available for Arbor Hill students at all other meal pickup locations throughout the district. Those locations include Sheridan Preparatory Academy from 9 a.m.-noon, and Edmund J. O’Neal Middle School of Excellence from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Also, a reminder that all City School District of Albany schools and offices will be closed Monday in observance of Columbus Day. School will resume Tuesday.
