MAGNET OPEN HOUSES THIS WEEK
This Black History Month, we are honored to celebrate Kevin Johnson, the first Black Executive Director of Albany’s historic Palace Theatre!
On Tuesday, Johnson visited grades 4-5 as part of our Local Black Heroes Series. He shared his inspiring journey and proved that dreams have no limits when you believe in yourself, work hard and stay committed to your vision.
Under his leadership, the Palace Theatre continues to thrive, bringing world-class performances, community events and opportunities for young people to experience the magic of the arts right here in Albany.
