On Friday we celebrated Heart Day! No, it wasn’t a belated Valentine event, it was a way to draw attention to the importance of having a healthy heart.
The American Heart Association initiative aims to improve and maintain cardiovascular health starting at a young age.
Here are AHES we got our hearts pumping through activities like dancing, yoga, basketball, hula hooping and jump roping.
We also learned about the importance of the brain/body connection through Legos and mental exercises.
