Tony Clement Center for Education dismissed early Friday afternoon following disruptive student behavior that required Albany Police Department assistance.
Clement implemented its hold-in-place procedures at about 12:15 p.m. Friday following a student altercation. Police responded to assist the building’s security staff. As a precautionary measure, the school began a staggered early dismissal by grade at 12:45 p.m.
As a reminder, all City School District of Albany schools are closed Monday in observance of Rosh Hashana. All students also are off Tuesday for a professional development day for faculty and staff. We will return to school next Wednesday.
