Dear Families,
Unfortunately, as you may have heard, one of our former students, A’Mon Willis, passed away in a vehicle accident on Saturday. We want to let you know that the City School District of Albany immediately mobilized its crisis support protocols this morning to provide support to everyone in our school community affected by this loss.
The passing of someone we care about can affect us in so many ways. Now, or in the coming days, weeks or even months, your child may have a variety of feelings. Our student support staff will remain available at school for your children, and you also can use the resources linked below to support you children at home. We ask that everyone remain sensitive and respectful to all who may be impacted by this loss.
As a school community, we will mourn this loss together. Here are some resources to help you support your family at home:

If you have concerns about your child, please let a teacher, staff member or administrator know. We are here to support you if you have any questions or concerns, or need to talk.
