Students began Friday morning’s ELA lesson with work on compound sentences and conjunctions before moving on to analysis of informational texts.
After reading two passages on Theodore Roosevelt’s conservation work, students completed a DLIQ – a strategy highlighting what they did (D), what they learned (L), what they found interesting (I) and any questions (Q) they still had.
