Science was front and center even more than usual last week at Edmund J. O’Neal School of Excellence, as elementary- and middle-school students showed off their science smarts to their school community.
Students in grades four and five from the Dual Language Program and Albany International Center (AIC) displayed their work Wednesday at the school science fair, and sixth- and seventh-graders from AIC demonstrated their skills Thursday at the school science symposium.
On both days, the scholar-scientists explained their hypotheses, research methods and findings to their classmates, teachers and competition judges. The top three elementary and middle-school projects head to the citywide Joseph Henry Science Fair this Friday at The College of Saint Rose.
Congratulations to all these aspiring Einsteins and developing deGrasse Tysons!
