The following message is from Albany International Academy Principal Rachel Stead:
Biliteracy instructional coach Christina Zontini has been appointed as the new assistant principal at Thomas O'Brien Academy of Science and Technology.
Zontini will remain at our school until we break for the holidays on Dec. 20, and then will start in her new position at TOAST on Jan. 2.
She has been an important member of the Newcomer Program and Dual Language Program communities for many years. While we will miss her many contributions, we are excited for this new professional opportunity for her and wish her tremendous success at TOAST!
We will begin a process to fill her position at our school immediately, and I will keep you updated on that process.
