Students started Friday afternoon continuing their exploration of mathematics, with a focus on open-ended math tasks. Students were presented with a word problem that allowed them to devise multiple solutions through multiple methods. Working in pairs, students settled in around the room to devise their unique answers before presenting them to the class.
