If an Eagle Point Elementary School student is attending your Thanksgiving meal, they’ll bring the butter - homemade!
On Nov. 26, Jennifer Carabis’ third and fourth-graders mixed salt and heavy cream in a mason jar and started shaking. Nine minutes later, they had butter!
Carabis’ mother did this very same project with her students, when she was a teacher, so it’s a fun and educational activity passed down from educator to educator!
