Eagle Point sets reading goal for charity

At Eagle Point Elementary School, reading benefits more than just academics!

Students and staff kicked off the Read for Ronald McDonald House campaign on Feb. 6. During the March fundraiser, students ask friends and family to sponsor their reading minutes and the more they read, the more money that goes to the Ronald McDonald House of the Capital District.

Last year 21 readers brought in $2000, making Eagle Point’s five-year contribution to the local non-profit approximately $8000.
