Over the last two weeks, students have been hard at work creating their “Volume Cities,” a hands-on homework project that put their mathematical knowledge of area, perimeter and volume into practice. Students designed blueprints for their cities and then constructed models, which they shared on Friday morning. After a gallery exhibition around the room, students had the opportunity to present their models to the class.
