Artist and mom helps students at Family Art Night
Our parents have so much talent! Lovasia McKenzie – artist, mom of Giffen Memorial Elementary School students and co-owner of Our Art Class – led a Family Art Night Thursday at the school.
While families enjoyed creating art, they learned about shape, color, perspective and more with guidance from McKenzie.
Our Art Class is run McKenzie and her partner, Aprecia “Preem” Cabey. Thursday’s session was the second of four happening at Giffen this school year.
