Virtual Open House Tuesday

Hackett Middle School will host a Virtual Open House on Tuesday, beginning with a prerecorded welcome presentation that will be available at 5 p.m. and proceeding to live online chats with teachers and staff starting at 6 p.m.

When the "Hackett Virtual Open House" link is available, click on it. It will bring you to the Hackett Virtual Open House lounge. Once inside the lounge, watch a pre-recorded introductory video by Hackett Principal Michael Paolino and Assistant Principal Lisa House that will guide you through the evening.

The program will include both pre-recorded teacher videos as well as live individual team meetings.

Throughout the lounge, parents and guardians will also be able to access links that will provide them with information relative to various programs offered at Hackett. Along the top of the lounge, parents and guardians will find links to each grade level team. Parents and guardians should click the link to their child’s specific team.  Once in the team link, parents will have the ability at their leisure to watch a pre-recorded video from each of their child’s teachers.  Included in the team page, parents and guardians will also find a google meet link for the live informational meeting which will also provide parents with a brief question/answer session.

To ensure that all parents and guardians can participate in multiple team meetings, the follow schedule has been developed:

• 6:10-6:30 p.m.: 6A, 6B and Mrs. Grignon live team meetings
• 6:40-7 p.m.:7A, 7B and Mrs. Messere live team meetings
• 7:10-7:30 p.m.: 8A, 8B and Mrs. MacNabb, Mrs. Seyfferth and Ms. Smith live team meetings

Should you have any specific questions about your child’s progress at the completion of the Open House format, please reach out to the teacher directly via an email. A Google document will also be available at the conclusion of the live team meeting for parents to complete should they wish to conference with a teacher in a more individual setting.
