On 3/14, some of of our math classes were seized by pi-rates!
After learning a sea shanty, we explored how Pi was discovered and how it’s used in daily life, not just a fun lesson in March.
Several brave fifth graders recited as many of the infinite digits as they could recall and the math merriment continued with Pi activities including sudoku, a word search and coloring place holders to create a 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197 design.
