News
- Student voice is important at Myers! Check out highlights from Thursday's grade-level Town Hall meetings that address what's going well here at Myers and what we can do, together, to make things even better!
- Sept. 19-23 is Coordinator Appreciation Week. Shout out to Myers' own, Jennifer Seguinot - thanks for all you do!
- No school on Monday, Sept. 25 due to Yom Kippur.
- Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 26, only students with activated swiper ID cards will be allowed to ride the CDTA for free.
- After School clubs will begin next week. Here is a list of clubs and the schedule.
- The Empire State After School Program, run by the Albany Police Athletic League, begins on Tuesday, Sept. 26. Please print out this application and return it to the main office. Students can also pick up a physical copy in the main office.
- The deadline to order mums in support of the PTSA is Monday, Sept. 25. A link to the order form can be found here. Also, don't forget to join the PTSA for the 2023-24 school year. Parents, guardians, students and faculty staff are all welcome! Our parent-run organization can't do what it does without you! PTSA news will be shared via district communication channels and the PTSA Facebook page.
- The Albany Booster Club's Falcon 5k and Fun Run is scheduled for Oct. 1. Sign up for the wonderful community event, held in Washington Park, today!
- The PTSA is hosting an Ice Cream Social on Oct. 2 from 5-6:30 p.m. and Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 30 from 4-6:30 p.m. (please note new date). Please consider signing up to decorate your trunk and hand out candy!
- The Myers Health and Wellness program will be up and running soon. It provides free family-friendly meals and hygiene products. If interested, please fill out this application to register. The program is also in need of donations - find a list of suggested items here.
- Please complete your student's annual consent forms as soon as possible! This page provides parents and guardians the opportunity to complete several annual agreements and consent forms online.
- The Vegetable Project, a wonderful hands-on program here at Myers, is selling spring bulbs as a fundraiser. The deadline to order is Oct. 13.
- Does your student-athlete play a JV or varsity sport? If so, please sign up for a concession stand shift in support of the Albany Booster Club!
