On Tuesday, Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School held a series of town hall meetings for students in all grades to reinforce expectations for safe and responsible behavior.
You can see a presentation from the meeting here. Additionally, we will hold more formal town hall meetings on Friday to present students their own discipline data, by grade level, in order to elicit their input for improvement.
All middle and high school students in the City School District of Albany will have a safety refresher this week following recent reports of violence in our school community. For more information, please see the district's safety message from Dec. 8.
