- Grade 7's Elemental Wellness, run by the organization Root3d through our Community School status, began last Wednesday. The lunch group meets Wednesdays and Thursdays, during lunch. Please email jseguinot@albany.k12.ny.us to enroll your student in the program.
- The deadline to support the PTSA's holiday gift card drive is this Wednesday, Dec. 20. Please consider a donation via this link. All contributions are being dedicated to Myers families.
- Volunteers are still needed to help out at the Myers Toys-for-Tots Holiday Party this Thursday (Dec. 21) Please use this link to sign up to assist before, during or after the event. The festivities run from 5:30-7 p.m. and all Myers students in attendance will receive a gift.
- This week is Junior Falcon Spirt Week! Use this schedule to participate in the fun!
- If you missed last week's Winter Concert, or just want to re-live the festive experience, you can find highlights of the event here. Also, the Wind Ensemble will be performing again at noon this Friday (Dec. 22) at the Empire State Plaza south concourse - enter via Madison Avenue doors.
- Registration for modified (grades 7-8) swimming begins next Friday, Dec.22. A link to the online sign up - plus information about the required paperwork - can be found here.
- REMINDER: There won't be a December PTSA meeting but the notes from the November meeting can be found here. The next PTSA meeting will be Jan. 10
- The City School District of Albany would like your input in our annual Family Engagement Survey! Our family/school relationships and partnerships are central to your student’s success and your feedback is important for our school improvement efforts. The confidential online survey will be open through Jan. 5, 2024.
- If you haven't already, please fill out the district's annual consent forms. Each year, we ask parents and guardians to complete several important online agreements. Learn more.
- The Vegetable Project, which leads hundreds upon hundreds of Albany students in getting their hands dirty each year (and was founded here at Myers), invites friends to show their support for the organization’s research-based efforts by sponsoring a garden bed for the 2024 growing season. Spread the word to family and friends and help contribute to the continued success of the program here at Myers and throughout the district. The deadline to place an order is Jan. 1, 2024.
