News

  • The district's annual music teacher concert will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 23) at 6:30 p.m. in the Albany High School auditorium. Cheer on our music teachers as they showcase their talents!
  • Quarter 2 ends this Friday, Jan. 26. If your student is missing work, please have him/her contact individual teachers regarding a plan to make up assignments. We plan to  mail home report cards on Monday, Feb. 5.
  • Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for Feb. 8-9. Please sign up for an appointment with your student's team today!
  • The Albany Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is seeking nominations for the 2024 HERO Award for Special Education.The award recognizes and celebrates excellence in education by spotlighting teachers, teaching assistants, paraprofessionals, related service providers, social workers, school psychologists, administrators and any others who go above and beyond to support special education students in the City School District of Albany. Nominations are due by Feb. 9.
  • Student athletes in grades 7-8 are eligible to participate on the ongoing football and tennis intramurals at Albany High School. A detailed schedule can be found on the Athletics landing page.
  • The Albany Booster Club is seeking adult volunteers to staff the oncession stand during home athletic games at Albany High School. If your student-athlete participates in a district extracurricular activity, please consider signing up.
