- Modified (grades 7-8) sports begin today! Please note this week's schedule and tryout/practice locations.
- This week is College and Career Week at Myers and we have a lot of exciting opportunities for our students.
- Thanks to all who made this past weekend's Myers Mixer a success - your support for our students, inside and outside of school, is greatly appreciated!
- The Myers Jazz Band rocked Empire State Plaza last week. Bravo to our student musicians and guiding teacher Jesse Rawson on another great performance!
- The 2024 Autism Spectrum Fair is tomorrow (Tuesday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m.) at Montessori Magnet School. The event is free, open to all and transportation is provided.
- Please consider attending an online informational meeting on March 28 (Zoom from 5:30-7 p.m.) about the Black and Latino Student Achievers. Achievers is a multicultural effort to create equity in education and the workplace.
- The district is partnering with the Black Child Development Institute to offer students in grades 6-12, and their parents and guardians, an opportunity to attend the free Entering the College Zone Student Conference on April 27 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College.
- The Vegetable Project, a program that supports hands-on learning involving science and nature here at Myers and other district schools, is running a seed fundraiser through March 29.
- The City of Albany is accepting registration through March 31 for the 2024 LIGHT Summer Youth Employment Program.
- The Albany Booster Club – which supports extracurriculars thoughout the district – needs adult volunteers to run the concession stand during home games this spring on the turf field. Please sign up for a shift today!
