Raining eggs in the name of science in Myers' lobby

Students drop eggs to test Newton's Third law.

Grade 6 put their knowledge of forces, engineering and Newton's Third Law to the test during a lab requiring them to engineer a structure that would keep their eggs safe during a drop.

Bubble wrap, plastic cups and coffee filters - every day items that students could get their hands on - added creativity to the experiment!

Olaiya Curtis’ class - in the air and on the ground - had a blast during the drop.
