There’s nothing like a furry friend to keep things chill!
Third and fourth graders in Kristen Clancy’s class at New Scotland Elementary School shared some quality time Wednesday with Bowie the labradoodle therapy dog and his person, Mary Ann Cooper.
Bowie and Cooper are affiliated with the Schenectady Chapter of Therapy Dogs International. They visit New Scotland Elementary every Wednesday for two hours and rotate among different classes, which works out to a visit with each class about once a month.
Take a look at some Facebook photos from their visit. You don't need a Facebook account to see the pictures linked in the highlighted text. A window may appear that says, “To see more from Albany City Schools on Facebook, log on or create an account,” but you can dismiss it by clicking “not now.”
