And they’re off … to middle school!
New Scotland Elementary School bade its fifth-graders farewell at a Moving-Up Ceremony on Friday morning in the school courtyard.

Family, friends and staff were on hand for the festivities, which included student speakers, songs and awards. Once each student received a certificate, the group of newly minted-middle schoolers paraded around the perimeter of the school to the applause of younger students.
