It’s National Walk & Roll to School Day 2024, and on this crisp Wednesday morning, New Scotland Elementary School students and families strolled, skipped, ran, biked and scootered to school.
The national effort emphasizes the importance of having safe routes to school and the health benefits of being active.
The New Scotland bicycle racks were chock-full as students filed into school to start their day. Walk & Roll is just one of several activities the school community is doing this week to celebrate Spirit Week.
