North Albany Middle School’s valued community partner, the Red Bookshelf, hosted a Times Union reporter as part of the school’s POWER Lunch Program on Wednesday.

Shaniece Holmes-Brown discussed her academic and career journey with the students.

The series aims to help students explore potential career opportunities with professionals of color and allows students to see themselves in career paths they may not have considered.
