NAMS' Junior Falcons are now Falcons!

A picture of student leaders recognized at North Albany's graduation.

North Albany Middle School celebrated its first inaugural class of graduates on Friday!

Building leaders were joined in recognizing the scholars by Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams, Assistant Superintendent Lori McKenna, Board of Education member Vicki Smith and keynote speaker, Tyrell Hughes, who grew up in the neighborhood and instructed students to help each other, accomplish goals and ever forget your roots.

The gorgeous singing by an underclassman, amazing decorations and the students’ spectacular style all added to the festive event commemorating a year of hard work and perseverance.

Congratulations to valedictorian Susie Hai and salutatorian Terrique Francis – you are both inspirations!

Best of luck to the NAMS Class of 2022 – soar high Falcons!
