Our sixth graders have been working on building background knowledge and vocabulary for the new book they will be reading, The Lightning Thief.
Bridget Smith and Michelle Belvedere's classes worked in small groups to research Greek Gods, Goddesses, and Monsters of Greek Mythology.
Students then combined their research to create a Body Biography of their assigned character. The biographies were displayed for a gallery walk which allowed students to through their peers' Mythology research.
