Happy Friday Junior Falcons!

News

  • Beginning Monday, Sept. 18, students arriving at school after 8:15 a.m. will need to enter the building via the main entrance.
  • Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 26, only those students with activated swiper ID cards will be allowed to ride the CDTA for free.
  • Check out highlights from a game of Talk and Toss in Melissa Parker's sixth-grade math class on Thursday.
  • Join us next Friday (Sept. 22) for our Clap In to welcome our students to the new school year! Please arrive early as parking may be a challenge.
  • Please complete your student's annual consent forms as soon as possible! This page provides parents and guardians the opportunity to complete several annual agreements and consent forms online.
  • After-school programming will begin the week of Oct. 10. Applications will be made available soon.
  • One of our favorite community partners, The Vegetable Project, is running a bulb sale. Please support this organization and place an order by Friday, Oct. 13.
  • Does your student-athlete play a JV or varsity sport? If so, please sign up for a concession stand shift in support of the Albany Booster Club!
  • The Albany Booster Club's Falcon 5k and Fun Run is scheduled for Oct. 1. Sign up for the wonderful community event, held in Washington Park, today!
  • Any student who is not immunized by Sept. 21 will not be able to continue to attend school. Please refer to this list of required immunizations to make sure your child is up to date. We have partnered with Whitney M. Young Jr. to offer free health services to all district students. Here is more information about our school-based health centers and contact information to make an appointment.
  • We are excited to partner with St. Catherine's Center for Children this year. Check out these informative (and free) September events that will help to empower and support you and your family.
