News

  • Online registration for the ninth annual Albany Booster Club Falcon 5K and Fun Run ends tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 30) at 11 p.m. but race day registration is available starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1 in Washington Park. Packet pick up also begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K run/walk takes off at 9:30 a.m. Learn more and sign up.
  • Next Friday (Oct. 6) is the annual district-wide emergency drill. All City School District of Albany schools will dismiss 15 minutes early. All after-school activities will be canceled. However, student-athletes will be permitted to return to their athletic venues -- at 3:15 p.m. for modified teams, and 3:45 p.m. for Albany High School teams.   • NAMS' after-school program begins Tuesday, October 10. Any student interested in participating should pick up an application in the main office beginning Monday, October 2. Completed forms should be returned to the main office as well. 
    • Students can choose specific programs, offered 1-4 times a week until   4:15 p.m., that interest them. For this program, students will need to be picked up or get permission to walk/take a CDTA bus home. 
    • Families who prefer to have access to programming Monday through Thursday with a later departure time, can choose the Albany PAL program which runs until 5:15 p.m. and provides the option of FirstStudent transportation home.
  • Registration is now open for our Be Well, Wellness Program. If you are interested in joining the program, please fill out this form.
  • The Seal-A-Smile mobile dental clinic will be here Oct. 16-20. For more information, and to register your student, please head here.
  • Please complete your student's annual consent forms as soon as possible! This page provides parents and guardians the opportunity to complete several annual agreements and consent forms online.
  • One of our favorite community partners, The Vegetable Project, is running a bulb sale. Please support this organization and place an order by Friday, Oct. 13.
  • Does your student-athlete play a JV or varsity sport? If so, please sign up for a concession stand shift in support of the Albany Booster Club!
