- NEW DATE! Our Q2 Honor Roll Ceremony is now scheduled for Feb. 16 at 9 a.m.
- Modified co-ed swimming begins Monday, Jan. 22. Practices will be held Monday-Friday at Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School from 4-5:15 p.m. NAMS students should take the Tripper bus from North Albany Middle School to Myers for practice.
- Interested in becoming a PTA officer or know someone who should? Please fill out this nomination form and join us on Wednesday (Jan. 24) at 5 p.m. for our next PTA meeting. We need 25 members to attend and vote on official PTA incorporation. Sign up and become a member of the PTA today!
- The North Albany Jazz Club will begin meeting after school on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:15 p.m. The first rehearsal will be Jan. 24. Last year, our student musicians chose to use part of the time to prepare for All City and NYSSMA.
- Celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year on Feb. 3. All are welcome to attend a Lunar New Year Celebration sponsored by the Chinese Club and the Chinese Community Center. For $1, you can eat traditional dishes, make traditional artwork and take part in traditional games.
- Grades 7-8 are eligible to participate in tennis and football intramurals at Albany High School. For a schedule, or to sign up, head to the Athletics page on the district website.
- We are seeking 10-20 NAMS students to participate in a mural project along with our art teachers. Students will have an opportunity to help create two murals as part of our North NAMS culture and climate initiative. Participants will meet Mondays and Wednesdays during the months of February, March and April and we will celebrate the completion of the murals with a reception for friends, family and community members on May 1. Interested students must return this permission slip to participate.
- The Albany Booster Club is seeking adult volunteers to staff the concession stand during home athletic games at Albany High School. If your student-athlete participates in a district extracurricular activity, please consider signing up.
- NAMS' after-school programming sign ups are ongoing! Any student interested in participating should pick up an application in the main office or register online via this link. A schedule of upcoming offerings can be found here.
