- Please note that our Science Symposium will be March 14 at 5 p.m. This is is a new date and we apologize for any confusion caused by the calendar adjustments.
- Thanks to all who organized - and attended - Thursday's Black History Month celebration - it was a wonderful event for our school community.
- Congrats to our student-artists whose work is included in the Empire State Plaza's annual K-8 art show. The exhibit runs March 4-22 and viewing is free and open to all.
- ICYMI: WTEN captured highlights from our Art on the Rise Mural Project during winter break - check it out!
- Registration for spring modified (grades 7-8) sports is now open! The district offers track and field, lacrosse, boys' tennis, softball and baseball. You must sign up via FinalForms and please note that the district will not be opening up girls’ flag football to grades 7-8 (through the Advanced Placement Process) unless a 9-12 grade team can’t be fielded. Practices/tryouts begin on March 25. Let's go Falcons!
- The PTA has to reschedule its March meeting - please stay tuned for a new date!
- The Vegetable Project, a program that supports hands-on learning involving science and nature here at NAMS and other district schools, is running a seed fundraiser through March 29.
- Applications are now available for the New York State Education Department's 2024 Summer School of the Arts. Students in grades 8-12 are ancouraged to apply by March 8 (theater) and March 15 (visual arts and media arts).
- NAMS' after-school programming sign ups are ongoing! Any student interested in participating should pick up an application in the main office or register online via this link. A schedule of upcoming offerings can be found here.
- Registration is now open for our Be Well, Wellness Program. If you are interested in joining the program, please fill out this form.
