- We lose an hour on Sunday as Daylight Savings Time 2024 goes into effect. Don't forget to move your clocks an hour ahead!
- College and Career Week is here! Check out the exciting schedule your students will experience March 11-15!
- The next PTA meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 25 at 5:30 p.m. Please join us!
- The district is partnering with the Black Child Development Institute to offer students in grades 6-12, and their parents and guardians, an opportunity to attend the free Entering the College Zone Student Conference on April 27 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College.
- Registration for spring modified (grades 7-8) sports is now open! The district offers track and field, lacrosse, boys' tennis, softball and baseball. You must sign up via FinalForms and please note that the district will not be opening up girls’ flag football to grades 7-8 unless a 9-12 grade team can’t be fielded. Practices/tryouts begin on March 25. Let's go Falcons!
- Congrats to our student-artists whose work is included in the Empire State Plaza's annual K-8 art show. The exhibit runs March 4-22 and viewing is free and open to all.
- The Vegetable Project, a program that supports hands-on learning involving science and nature here at NAMS and other district schools, is running a seed fundraiser through March 29.
- Applications are now available for the New York State Education Department's 2024 Summer School of the Arts. Students in grades 8-12 are ancouraged to apply by today March 8 (theater) and March 15 (visual arts and media arts).
- NAMS' after-school programming sign ups are ongoing! Any student interested in participating should pick up an application in the main office or register online via this link. A schedule of upcoming offerings can be found here.
- Registration is now open for our Be Well, Wellness Program. If you are interested in joining the program, please fill out this form.
