- The Sky's The Limit for our seventh graders completing an engineering lab, with the same name, with guidance from Turner Construction.

- Sign up for Summer Sports Academy by June 21. The free free five-week program is co-sponsored by the University at Albany Liberty Partnerships Rising Stars Program and the City School District of Albany Athletics Department. Details, including the required online interest form, can be found here.
- Girls in grades 7-11 who are interested in playing volleyball next fall are encouraged to attend volleyball intramurals at Albany High School. They will be held every Monday and Wednesday (beginning June 3) from 3:30-5 p.m. Student athletes must be registered via FinalForms. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Gerace at agerace@albany.k12.ny.us.
- Any current student in grades 6-8 who plans to try out for a fall sport will need an up-to-date physical before the season begins in late August. Please schedule your child’s physical as soon as possible to ensure participation. Important health requirements for the 2024-25 school year, for all district students, can be found online.
- STEP - Albany Medical College's Science and Technology Entry Program - which aims to increase the number of historically underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students in science/math/health college and careers - is seeking applications. Details for students in grades 7-12 can be found here.
