- There is no school on Monday in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day. Additionally, North Albany Middle School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 16) to accomodate staff professional development.
- We are hosting a community walk at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16. The goal is to trace the route many of our students travel to get to and from school and gather insights and resources that are available in the NAMS neighborhood. Learn more and register.
- If you are interested in scheduling a Parent/Teacher Conference (Oct. 24-25), please call the Main Office at 518.475.6800
- Afterschool programming is now underway! If you have an interest, or a desire to learn something new, chances are there's a club for you!
- NAMS was a zoo on Thursday and that's a GREAT thing! Check out highlights from grade 8's animal observation in agriculture class.
- North Albany Middle School families can now receive shelf-stable grocery items every Friday. Please register to participate. Email dsherrod@albany.k12.ny.us or call 518.475.6800 x29190 with with questions.
- PTA updates:
- Our first meeting of the 2024-25 school year is Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 5:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Durett Miles, CSDA's Director of Transportation. Questions or concerns, regarding transportation or anything NAMS related, can be submitted via this form. Please note that you can also "attend" the meeting virtually.
- Our online store closes tomorrow. Show your NAMS pride and place an order!
- Our PTA requires 25 to members remain in good standing with the National PTA. Memberships are only $5 and you can register via this link. Parents/guardians, faculty/staff and students are all encouraged to join.
- Do you plan to visit Dave and Busters with the kids? If so, support the NAMS PTA when you go! We are selling Power Cards for $10 or $20 and the PTA will receive 50% of all sales! Order forms and money must be returned by Oct. 23. Cards can be picked up during our Dine to Donate event on Monday, Oct. 28 from 5-8 p.m. at the Dave and Busters in Crossgates. The PTA will receive 20% of all food, non-alcoholic beverages, and game play purchased during that evening if you show this flyer. Thanks, in advance, for your support!
