More is better when it comes to treats! That’s why a seventh-grade math lesson on scale aimed to increase the size of candy bar drawings this week.

Regan Morency’s class compared actual candy lengths and area and then recreated a large scale drawing, complete with recalculated nutritional information on the back accounting for their new supersized confections.

Next stop for the students’ sweet math project? A Willy Wonka themed bulletin board in the hallway for peers to admire!
