It’s arithmetic’s favorite day – March 14 or 3.14 – Pi Day!
Grade 7 celebrated the mathematical constant by learning about the infinite digit’s discovery and history as well as 3.14’s modern day applications. The lessons were led by math teaching pi-rates Brian Smith, Sara Kane, Kelly Hayes and Regan Morency.
Class finished with some poetry – a Pi Ku featuring lines of three, one and four syllables.
