We embarked on an adventure together today…a reading adventure!
All students from kindergarten-grade 5 received their copy of Lost and Found Cat as part of our fall One School, One Book experience.
The true story, by Amy Shrodes and Doug Kuntz, details an Iraqi family’s escape to safety. The refugees’ cat, Kunkush, was lost during the chaotic journey but a world-wide search reunited Kunkush with his family, in their new country.
Our student leaders are sure to love this story and we are excited by the discussions already occurring, around the book, in our classrooms.
